Mobile phone app unavailable

I got my Atto 3 in November and BYD still have not sent the link/email so I can access the mobile app. They are telling the garage that they have done this but no emails sent to me ( junk box checked daily) and BYD have ignored my emails.
Their customer service phone number no longer exists and therefore it is impossible for me to contact anyone other than the garage where we got the car. They just repeatedly get told that this has been done but no proof that it has, as I reality it hasn’t.
The garage tells me I’m not the only one with this issue.
Anyone else got the same problem or has a way of contacting BYD directly.
Or if anyone has Mark Blundell’s( head of UK sales) email that would be great.
I’m liking the car but their customer services are making the dreadful Tesla customer services look great.
All ideas welcome

Hi.

I've had my dolphin since 1st November and still haven't received confirmation about the app. I've chased several times and all I've received from the dealer is byd are having issues registering the car ... But I spoke to someone who has an atto through octopus energy and his worked within 5 days. Getting very frustrating.
Regarding Mark you could always send him a DM on LinkedIn?

The garage I got the car from said there are a few people in our position, good to hear from yourself to confirm this.
I am about to email Mark Blundell and I will let you know if I get anywhere.🤞👍

What you guys need to do is contact byd direct
Tell them having problems with starting the app

You need to do the following:
Step 1: contact byd on the uk number on +44 2033072546
And tell them your issue with the app
Step2: they will then ask you a few questions your email address, VIN number which is located on dirivers side or passengers side front window and phone number also!
Step 3; they will ask where you got the vehicle from as the dealership should be sending all information of your vechicle including your contact details so you can start using the app but some may of not been trained as I’ve rang my dealership so many times and then after that didn’t know what to do or say or how to resolve it !
Step 4: check back the next day on your app and you should be all set to go maybe it would be resolved within a few hours as they are very quick at dealing with responses so maybe sooner rather than later due to their quick response ! check 3 hours later and see if you can start the process with the app! Once you it accepts the first stage on the app of registering then you should be able to follow steps below!
Step 4. Goto your vehicle go to settings and then click on your app and start the process.
Step 5: register put in your details and then receive email with code and then follow next steps:
Step 6: go to setting in your vehicle and go to qr code then scan it
Step 7: all ready to go welcome to @byd

Cheers for this.

I have spoken to my dealership and BYD. The qr code has expired and the only way to add manually would be a factory reset but I'm not keen on that ATM.

Update………….. on App……….

In regards to the app for BYD in uk
As I mentioned before my previous comments please do as I mentioned
Once this is completed most of the times they ask you to go to vehicle settings and go to link device remote however this is not possible on some vehicles
So ring customer service on the number I provided and let them know
Give it about 5 days and then come back to the app now it’s working for me in the uk
So I appreciate the help BYD appreciated and love the car no negative comments so far happy days !

My app and Spotify wasn’t working.
I went in to see the dealer at BYD Stratstone in Birmingham and they sorted it within a couple of hours.
I think it needs BYD to turn the cars wifi on.
