Hello, I am new to posting on this forum, but since any real action out of BYD is not forthcoming I am forced to share my concerns to see if there are any others with similar thoughts.
Having a cruise control adjust at 5 k intervals does not work for me. I am often on open roads and would like to set my cruise control to the legal limit (or slightly below or above depending on the situation). To set the cruise control to a specific speed I need to stare at the speed indication to lock the cruise control in at just the right speed. This requires me to take my eyes off the road for some time, so quite dangerous.
I believe the cruise control set-point should be adjustable by 1 k, so I can roughly set it initially, and then fine-tune by clicking up or down.
A number of other functions like the set and resume could also work better, but I can live with them.
and before anybody comes up with the argument that the legal speed limits are in 5 or 10 k steps anyway.
This argument does NOT work, since the speed indication of the Seal is out by 2 to 3 k. So when I set the cruise control to 100 k. I am actually doing 97 etc...
and on a 200 k country drive this makes a difference.

So BYD, Please fix the cruise control so I can change up or down by 1 k intervals.

Hey,

I'm not due to take delivery of my car for another few weeks so this is a bit of a long shot.

On my current polestar 2, it also increases and decreases by 5 with a press of the button but long pressing it changes the intervals by single digits. You could give that a try and see if it is set up in a similar way.

Unfortunately the user manual only refers to changes in steps of 5. :(

As I suggested in an earlier post. You can change the speeds by 5 with a single press and pressing and holding the toggle changes by single units. I used this function today so I can say first hand that it works
